How to Take Your Eye Makeup Look from Day to Night with Multi-Chromatic Eyeshadow

If your everyday schedule means that you’re constantly on-the-go, running from work meetings to post-work happy hours or a date night, and don’t have time to go home and re-do your makeup, we get it. Lucky for you, we have the easiest step-by-step guide on how to elevate your eye makeup look from daytime to nighttime. Throw these products in your purse and give yourself 10 minutes to freshen up, and you’ll be ready for your nighttime plans in no time.

Daytime Eye Makeup (clean, every day soft glam)

Step 1: Start with a clean and moisturized eyelid and apply eyeshadow primer. Applying an eyeshadow primer creates a smooth, even base and will help your eyeshadow adhere better. For a primer, we like using the Eye Shaping Stylo in a shade that is closest to your skin tone.

Step 2: Choose a neutral shade of your choice from the Multi-Chromatic Metal Reflecting Eyeshadow assortment. We recommend Glaze, Gleam, Dream Dust, Blaze, Quartz or Alloy. Use your finger to swipe it all over your lid and blend using the All Over Eyeshadow Brush to diffuse out any harsh lines. Apply more if you’d like to add more intensity to the shine or color.

Step 3: Apply a coat of Lash Prototype Volumizing Mascara to define your lashes. This will complete your eye look without making them look overly dramatic.

Nighttime Eye Makeup (like your everyday soft glam, but with a little more oomph)

Step 1: For a more nighttime look, you’ll want to choose a deeper shade of the Multi-Chromatic Eyeshadow that gives you more dimension and intensity. We recommend choosing Spark, Stardust, or Onyx.

Step 2: Using the Precision Eye Smudger Brush, dip the brush into your color of choice and apply it to the outer-V of your eyelid. Blend the color well into the crease for a seamless transition using the All Over Eyeshadow Brush. Or, for an all over eyeshadow look, apply the shade all over your lid. Make sure to blend using the All Over Eyeshadow Brush.

Step 3: Using the same shade, take the Precision Eye Smudger and apply it along your top lash line. You can create a thicker line and or add a wing for a more dramatic effect. To take it a step further, apply Continuum Gel Eyeliner in Nebula or Eclipse to your lash line to add even more definition and sharpness.

Step 4: Lastly, apply a coat of Lash Prototype Volumizing Mascara to further enhance and volumize your lashes.
